As Northeast Georgia’s oldest and largest marketing, advertising and public relations agency, MVC was founded in 1973 as Morton & Associates, a sole proprietorship with two employees, and incorporated in 1982. By 1994, Morton & Associates had grown to five associates, client billings had doubled, and the agency had carved a niche as a leading business-to-business agency specializing in poultry, agrimarketing and utilities.

Bucking a trend for most ad agencies, Morton & Associates still retained many of its original clients from the early 1970s. In 1994, Morton & Associates was purchased by John Vardeman, of the Kelly Vardeman agency, and became Morton Vardeman & Associates, with six employees. In 1999, Tina Carlson, longtime Creative Director of Morton & Associates, became a partner in the agency, changing the name to Morton Vardeman & Carlson.

Today, MVC employs a staff of 13. We conduct day-to-day operations from our office at 200 Broad Street, Gainesville, GA.
